Your customers are high-tech companies, mainly in the medical and industrial market. These are high-quality business partners, who have a great deal of knowledge themselves, determine the design of the assignment and have long-term partnerships with Variass. These companies are used to working with Variass and are seen as sustainable and equal partners.
You manage your own relationship network and maintain contacts with existing relationships: 10-15 professional companies in the Netherlands. Within the companies you have several contact persons ranging from technical specialists to managers.
You are with customers and prospects approximately 1.5 days a week. The visits consist of relationship maintenance, expanding services, explaining offers and receiving a signature to get started. In addition, you work in the office in both Drachten and Veendam.
You are responsible for transferring information to the right department, monitoring progress and maintaining contact with the customer. You collect information for the preparation of the quotation and you have contact with colleagues in engineering, purchasing, planning and production. You receive a lot of details, data and other information from the customer, on the basis of which you draw up a structured and detailed transfer. You transfer information to the engineers, so that all technical promises are guaranteed and fulfilled. A material and labor calculation is drawn up with the input of colleagues.
You prepare the quotation based on this information, discuss it with the customer and monitor the agreements and progress of the process. You keep an overview of all quotes issued and submit them to the manager for approval. There is weekly quotation consultation regarding the material and labor calculation. This coordinates project progress. After presenting the solution, you request feedback from the customer through an evaluation report. The KPIs are monitored monthly and you contribute to the preparation of reports.
You will receive information from the customer that you can discuss. If the customer's input does not match the ERP system, you first transfer it to the calculator to make codes readable. For new designs, a parts list is first made by the development department, after which you, as an account manager, can continue making customer agreements.
After completion of projects and orders you analyze the results. You ask yourself questions like: can it be done? What can be done better, cheaper and more efficiently. You then make this information available and include it in future assignments. In short: because you manage, analyze and make available all available data correctly, Variass can serve the customer a little better every day.

What is required?
