Internship ZiuZ Medical – PrintTestTool
Vacancy by ZiuZ Visual Intelligence

Software Development
Help us in improving our development processes by (re)building a test tool to print (simulate) a batch of pouches containing (dummy) pills.
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
ZiuZ builds products containing visual intelligence components to (help) solve challenges in socially relevant domains. We work in 3 Scrum teams for the business units Forensic and Pharmacy Automation creating products using mainly Microsoft technology and frameworks.
ZiuZ develops and delivers pouch inspection systems for pharmacies, all over the world. The pouches (Baxter pouches) are produced via a pouch packager. For testing purposes we do not always want to create actual pouches, we want to simulate them by printing on paper or purely digital (images of pouches as were they photographed by our machine).
We currently have a PrintTestTool containing a lot of options like number of pouches, using header and footer pouches, simulating pills of different sizes, barcodes, random patient names etc. We are aiming to rebuild this tool and make it a web application.
THE ASSIGNMENT
Create the functional specification based on the existing tool. Discuss functional changes with the stakeholders and design and develop the tool itself. Comply with the ZiuZ Code Standards and software architecture guidelines (MVVM, hexagonal, automated tests).
EXPECTED END RESULT
- Functional specifications of the tool
- Technical design
