Do you have a sense of commerce and does technology make your heart beat faster? As a Sales Engineer you want nothing more than to find a (technical) solution for the customer's issue. You have knowledge or affinity with hydraulic, pneumatic and computer-controlled applications. You are a team player who wants to get the work done together with colleagues and who does not turn away from the administrative work that also comes with internal sales. Frequent follow-up of leads and projects is a matter of course for you.
You are part of the High Pressure Technology product group. As a Sales Engineer you have an essential role in translating customer issues into technical solutions. You make an important contribution to making cost price calculations. You translate these into quotations for high-pressure machines and/or high-pressure test applications. Through a good business and technical analysis of the customer case, you are able to translate this together with the Area Sales Manager into the right solution and a commercial offer.
You are also the point of contact for distributors, customers and prospects. You are an important link in the sales process and you have an eye for the different interests. As an excellent networker you know how the lines run, both internally and externally.
You work closely with your colleagues in the office, Area Sales Managers, Service, Engineering and R&D department to work out the quotations. You communicate regularly with customers all over the world. Based on your expertise, you advise Area Sales Managers, distributors and customers to arrive at the right solution.
- HBO working and thinking level;
- A technical background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of or affinity with hydraulic and pneumatic schemes – P&IDs
- Dutch and English at a good level in word and writing, German is an advantage;
- Great affinity with technology;
