Photonis Netherlands BV, a key player within the Exosens group, stands as the European leader in cutting-edge electro-optical technologies catering to defense and industrial applications. For our facility in Roden, we are looking for a:
SENIOR ELECTRONIC ENGINEER R&D
As a seasoned Electronic Engineer in our R&D team, you will be instrumental in advancing our capabilities. Your primary focus will revolve around pioneering new, intelligent high-voltage power supplies for image intensifier tubes and innovative night vision systems. This role entails cultivating and managing vital connections with universities and knowledge institutions, overseeing potential internships and Ph.D. positions, and staying abreast of the latest developments in electronics. Your proactive involvement extends to shaping new products through the refinement of embedded hardware and firmware solutions.
Our ideal candidate:
- Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Physics, or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in embedded software design and implementation.
- Proven skills in electronic product development.
- Familiarity with multiple microprocessors.
- Experience in a project management environment.
- Exposure to working in a change tracking environment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, while knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
