Photonis Netherlands BV is a market leader in the development, production and sale of high-tech residual light amplifiers that are used in the industrial, scientific, medical and night vision markets. Our production facility in Roden employs approximately 400 people; in addition to production, departments such as R&D, Finance, Engineering, SCM, Purchasing and Sales are also located here. We are an international organization that works towards success with a goal-oriented drive.

Due to expansion we are looking for several:

TEAM LEADERS (40 hours per week)

As a team leader, you manage a group of production employees within one of the production teams of the Operations department. You ensure that production runs optimally and that the continuity of the production process is guaranteed and goes according to plan.

What are you going to do

• You manage a group of 10 to 20 production employees
• You conduct assessment, development and absenteeism interviews with production employees
• You take care of the daily planning of the staffing
• You facilitate the team so that the production orders are completed according to schedule within the established work instructions
• You provide maintenance planning (TPM) and take action in the event of deviations and defects. You work together with Technicians and Engineers.
• You do 'self audits' based on a set schedule
• You enter data for the Efficiency / Yield registration and malfunctions in the ERP system
• You fill in for fellow team leaders in their absence

We would like you to have this

• You have extensive work experience in leading, motivating and facilitating employees, preferably in a technical environment
• You have at least MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably with a completed training in a technical direction
• You are interested in technology and are able to quickly master the work process in a complex environment
• You are able to maintain peace and overview in the team and the production process
• You have knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing
• You are prepared to be an emergency response team member and to take the necessary courses for this
• You are willing to work in (two) shifts
