An impactful multi-disciplinary team of experienced and passionate professionals, that works with internal and external teams from all over the globe. You get the opportunity to work on an innovative method and device for consumer's mouth health detection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Description of assignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this internship you will investigate based on literature and own ideas whether it will be possible to detect the advanced c.q. extended state of the consumer's mouth health. If that is feasible, you will propose how such systems could be built and, if time allows, build and test such a system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main subjects of this biomedical engineering assignment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Literature research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test setup design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact assignment(s) can be further discussed and defined by the students themselves in collaboration with our team. You are in the lead!<br>Please note that the subject is highly confidential and requires signing of NDA like contracts. Presentations might need to be adapted in case they are required to be presented to a general audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master\/Bachelor internship students who are pursuing Biomedical engineering and will work on the project for at least 3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Affinity with the biomedical and consumer field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional skills in English (written and verbal).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team player, passionate about results and people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on mentality and result driven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Likes to do research, design and execute experiments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students open to learn a lot of new competences, like technical subjects, research, development, consumer research, international cooperation in a large-scale company etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work mainly on site (Drachten) for at least 3-4 days per week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will be part of:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Drachten you'll find one of the largest innovation sites of Philips globally.
