This emphasizes lean and cost-efficient production. A five-shift structure is in place to optimize production.<br><br>The goal is to review the department and determine whether VSO Moulding meets the needs of our \u201cinternal customers.\u201d<br>Is the department currently properly structured to achieve lean and cost-efficient production goals?<br>The internship project consists of the following parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reporting and presentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction, familiarization with the organization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the current status and evaluation of available information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Definition of the internship assignment in consultation with supervisors<br>Establishment of clear boundaries regarding what is and is not included in the assignment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execution of the assignment<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a><strong>Expected result<\/strong><\/a><br><br>Concrete recommendations to achieve the intended goal of lean and cost-efficient production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Study mechanical engineering (HBO, University of applied physics).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent Dutch speaking and writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent English speaking and writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Available for at least 4 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a><strong>For information you can contact<\/strong><\/a><br>Hans Berenschot<br>hans.berenschot@philips.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Publication date January 15th, 2026<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assignment The Philips Molding department in Drachten is currently transforming into a Value Stream Organization (VSO).
