Then come join our team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>What can we tell you about the position:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will manage your team and do a lot of multidisciplinary work within the Engineering department and with colleagues from other departments. You will report functionally and hierarchically to the Manager Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Key responsibilities in this role:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You manage the team in a natural and efficient manner, planning work and matching the right engineers to specific client assignments or projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For new or complex assignments, you will set up the outline design and be the point of contact for questions about technical feasibility and effort required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will design machines and modifications (mechanical\/hydraulic) in Inventor and manage the entire process in Pro.File (PDM).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You ensure that all designs comply with CE marking and relevant international standards and safety requirements, both within and outside Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be responsible for (checking) strength, power and stability calculations and provide final release.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will lead the construction and testing of prototypes and take the lead in solving real-world technical challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You take initiatives to continuously optimize the efficiency, work methods and results of the design team and the broader organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>What do we ask of you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A college degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Vehicle Technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in mechanical engineering and leadership experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of hydraulic systems and body shop experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are familiar with European directives such as the Machinery Directive\/Regulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are solution-oriented, communicative and collaborative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have experience with CAD and PLM systems. Knowledge of Inventor is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can communicate well in English in word and writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Are you interested in this position?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enthusiastic and want to know more?
