Comecer Netherlands BV in Joure develops, produces and sells a wide range of innovative software and hardware products that are used worldwide in hospitals within nuclear medicine and the (radio)pharmaceutical industry. Our R&D team consists of more than 20 enthusiastic professionals with expertise in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, embedded software engineering and .NET software development. Comecer Netherlands BV is part of the Comecer Group and is a company within ATS Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Joure we develop and produce complete end products and subsystems. Think of Dose Calibrators (for measuring radioactivity), automatic injectors, measuring systems for glove integrity and monitoring systems for user safety. All of these are high-quality products that require broad technical knowledge - and contribute to safe and reliable care worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you going to do?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer you work in a multidisciplinary team and you are the connecting factor between mechanics, electrical engineering and software. You are a real out-of-the-box thinker who is result-oriented. You are involved in the entire process, from concept development and engineering to testing, validation and commissioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your duties include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • It\u00a0design, develop and integrate<\/strong>\u00a0of high-performance electronic and mechatronic systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0Initiating and translating innovative ideas<\/strong>\u00a0- both your own ideas and those of colleagues - into concrete concepts, modules and products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0Building, testing and validating prototypes<\/strong>, with a strong focus on learning, improving and optimizing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0identify, analyze and solve<\/strong>\u00a0of complex technical issues throughout the project process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0translating customer requirements and functional specifications<\/strong>\u00a0to effective and future-proof technical solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0Conducting in-depth feasibility studies<\/strong>\u00a0to ensure that concepts match technical, usability, business case and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It\u00a0Review and optimize designs<\/strong>\u00a0considering performance, reliability and manufacturability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • A college or university education<\/strong>\u00a0in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar technical fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A great curiosity<\/strong>\u00a0to technology, new concepts and our customers' challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Creative thinking skills:<\/strong>\u00a0You come up with solutions that go off the beaten track and really make a difference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
