You will be participating in the SME Molding at Philips Drachten, where you will have the opportunity to work on the following assignment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Problem description of assignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the molding department, we are working on the transition to autonomous production. For our visual parts, we currently use operators to perform visual inspections; it would be nice to switch to automatic 80% checks (A and B defects) using low-cost cameras to distinguish the defective parts from the good ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal of this assignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding solutions with low-budget AI cameras, like the Keyence IV4, for a setup that can filter out wrong parts and feed information back to the Manufacturing Information System to trigger process control thresholds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students can start per month\/year for a minimum of 6 months.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To succeed in this role, you are pursuing your Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering\/Mechatronics and possess the following skills and experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
