A wonderful recognition for nearly 90 years of innovation in control equipment for the maritime sector. &nbsp;<br><br>In this role, you work from the head office in Sneek, but you also travel to locations worldwide. You work on average 60% locations, with projects lasting 3 to 5 days.<br><br>As a commissioning engineer, you perform various tasks, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assembly and disassembly of cabinets, panels and plates according to drawings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Functional testing of software and equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detecting and resolving malfunctions in collaboration with engineers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execution of official test protocols in the factory and on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installing, configuring and testing systems on board ships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training and instruction of the ship's crew.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolve any malfunctions, both on-site and remotely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Salary \u20ac3500-\u20ac6000 according to the Metalektro Collective Agreement (excluding bonuses\/overtime)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vacation days \/ ADV \/ ATV27 vacation days &amp; 13 ADV days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location Sneek (40%) worldwide on-site (60%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secondary employment conditions: Annual profit bonus, pension facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for an Implementation Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You are highly communicative, stress-resistant, and organized.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have affinity with the maritime sector and possess:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level, with a background in electrical engineering, control engineering or industrial automation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good command of the Dutch and English language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven work experience in electrical installation and servicing work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A valid VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who are we?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kwant Controls is a leading manufacturer of advanced nautical instruments and systems.
