Northern Netherlands as a hotspot for high-tech careers? Absolutely, 45 master's students from the Tu Delft<\/a> discovered this for themselves during an inspiring high-tech safari in Drachten. Led by Assisted Professor Alessia Napoleone<\/a> students from Mechanical, Shipbuilding and Civil Engineering got a unique insight into the world of autonomous (factory) systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"High-tech<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

High-tech companies share knowledge and innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The students visited leading companies such as\u00a0BD<\/a>, Philips<\/a>, Batenburg Bones<\/a> and Viventris<\/a><\/strong>. This gave the them direct insight into how advanced autonomous systems are applied in practice. From\u00a0innovative inspection systems and agricultural robots to advanced laboratory systems<\/strong>. These technologies developed here contribute to more efficient and smarter production processes worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the production facilities of Philips and BD<\/strong> students saw firsthand how automation and robotics are shaping the modern factory. In addition, they gained insight into how companies such as Viventris and Batenburg Beenen<\/strong> deploy their technologies in a variety of sectors. The enthusiastic interaction with experts in the field provided lively discussions and valuable insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northern Netherlands: a promising region for high-tech talent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The students were impressed by the opportunities offered by the Northern Netherlands. They saw how their academic knowledge connects seamlessly with practice. And in addition, they also discovered that there are plenty of opportunities in this region for internships, graduation projects and even a future career. At the end of the program, they were therefore invited to get further acquainted with the\u00a0ICD companies<\/strong>\u00a0and the opportunities they offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
