This prestigious award is presented to an engineer who has made an exceptional contribution to technological development in the Netherlands. For Scherpen, this is a great honour and recognition for her pioneering work in the field of control engineering and dynamic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacquelien Scherpen is professor of Control Systems and Energy at the RUG. Her research focuses on developing mathematical models and algorithms for complex systems, such as robots and sustainable energy systems. Her work helps improve the performance and efficiency of those systems.\u00a0&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an important recognition for the work of Scherpen and her team. In an interview with RTV Noord and Holland High tech, she referred to it as \"a huge honour\" and \"recognition for all the hard work\". She is very proud of her team and the collaboration with companies and organisations in the region. These collaborations have led to successful implementations in the industry and society as a result of her research.
