NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences Students Proudly Present Their Robot Future Research and Win Prestigious Sibbele Oosterhaven Innovation Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, July 14, it was a special day for the students of the second batch of the Associate degree (Ad) Industrial Automation and Robotics program at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. They proudly presented their research during a poster market in the SKILL building in Drachten. For a year they have been studying robotics and automation, and now the time had come to share their findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The atmosphere at the poster market was energetic and full of creativity. The students showed what they had discovered and devised in the field of technical improvements and innovations at their employers. Company supervisors, teachers and fellow students were present to attend the presentations and provide feedback.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the day was the presentation of the Sibbele Oosterhaven Innovation Award. This prestigious award was won by Sander Witte, who successfully completed an assignment for Cramm Yachting systems. His application of predictive maintenance to the cranes developed and delivered at Cramm was recognized as highly innovative and valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Associate degree (Ad) Industrial Automation and Robotics program of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with Innovatiecluster Drachten (ICD) and companies in the Northern Netherlands, offers students the opportunity to specialize in emerging technologies in the industry. The world of robotics and automation is evolving rapidly, and these students are at the forefront of these exciting developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future working environment will be characterized by a harmonious collaboration between humans and robots. Robots take over boring, dangerous and time-consuming tasks, while human employees can concentrate on creative and strategic activities. The success of this course is partly due to Sibbele Oosterhaven, the quartermaster of this unique opportunity. His vision and commitment have ensured that this training has come about. Therefore, the award is named after him to honor and recognize his contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
