Department
The R&D department consists of experienced electrical, software, and hardware engineers who are involved in developing new and improving existing BD Kiestra machines. Regularly, questions arise from customers that are initially answered by the Service Department and sometimes also by R&D.
Assignment Description
We offer a unique opportunity to be part of our innovative team and work on the development of an advanced AI-based system that will be able to support our Service Engineers in solving customer problems by analyzing log files and consulting service manuals and systems.
The system should be able to answer questions such as:
• What malfunctions have occurred?
• How do I replace part A?
• Is this a known problem?
Core Activities
• Research which AI system best fits the requirements.
• Design and develop the AI-based system.
• Implement a user-friendly interface.
• The system must be able to analyze log files and integrate service manuals and possibly connect with the service maintenance system.
• Test and validate the system to ensure it provides accurate and reliable answers.
• Your work will be reviewed, and you will receive constructive feedback from experienced colleagues.
