The Senior Electronics Engineer is responsible for PCBA design in a medical instrument environment. Next to this you will be responsible for the complete EE part of the instrument control and you ensure the smooth development process from requirements to production. Stakeholders range from marketing to reliability testing, but you also collaborate with peers in other locations such as Sparks (Baltimore, MD, U.S.A.) and Limerick (Ireland) to the EE department count within a large international organization.
The role involves:
Investigation of new technology in the field of electronics, micro-processors, connectors, cabling, sensors and motors in agreement with software engineers, mechanical engineers and your peers.
Prepare architecture for instrument control.
PCBA design in Altium and Altium Vault functional design, component selection, diagrams, layout, reviews, functional testing, etc.)
Design reviews (controlled by QP) with project team and department on either your own or peer engineer’s projects.
Implementing improvements and solving quality issues (RfCs and CAPAs).
Educated at least as Bachelor/ Master (HTS) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with 5+ years of experience. You have a profound experience with Altium and knowledge of Altium Vault. Next to this you will need superb internal customer-facing/handling skills were proficiency in English is a must. You’ll also bring:
Knowledge and experience on analogue and digital circuits, EMC, SMPS and Embedded Software for functional testing and quick prototyping.
- Systems expertise on Sensors, Electrical drives, Robotics, Embedded Control.

- The ability to plan and organize your own work
