Depending on the subject, it can be discussed to support you with a Thesis. In case we will continue with a thesis, we require a 32 hours availability to work on the project and 8 hours to work on your thesis.
We are looking for a student that study towards your bachelor or master’s in: Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Your assignment is to develop a manipulation case for handling shaver handles by a robot. The challenge is to handle in a smart way a severity of handles and adjacent jigs by a limited set of change overs for optimal testing efficiency. At the robot in the quality department, several tests are performed like motion feedback that requires a fixed orientation throughout the movements of the robot.
At the quality department an UR5 robot is available, next to a RPD department with milling and 3D print facility.
To succeed in this role you should be:
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- You have excellent statistical/ analytical skills.
- You have a hands-on mentality and are result driven.
- Level = HBO/WO
