If you join us as a buyer, your job will involve making sure that the right cameras, motors, sensors and PCBA’s are available at the right time, so that our products can be assembled and sold throughout the world. As a buyer, you will have a direct impact on ZiuZ’s core activities and allow our products to make a global impact. Have we piqued your interest? Then we are looking for you!
What is your role within our organisation?
In your role as Purchaser, you will be responsible for the tactical and operational purchase of components for our products. You will work closely with the technical buyer when doing so, and will have your own portfolio of components and suppliers. You will work with external suppliers as well as major internal suppliers, namely ZiuZ Assembly.
When doing so, you will be responsible for the full procurement process, including supplier selection and management, contract negotiations, optimisation of stock levels, set-up and optimisation of the ERP system (AFAS Profit) and placing call-off orders. Your colleague will follow-up on call-off orders, and you will be involved in case of escalations.
Besides your regular activities, you will also be involved in optimalisation projects. ZiuZ has recently started to assemble its latest product, ApolloZ, in its own premises, which means the department, the process and the product are relatively new and are in constant development.
What are you offering?
- You must at least be educated to HVE (HBO) level;
- You must have at least 2 years’ work experience in a comparable position;
- You must be curious;
- You must be able to prioritise effectively under pressure;
- You must work in a structured and thorough manner;
- You must be able to respond quickly and be flexible with unexpected situations;
- You must have an affinity with technology.
What does ZiuZ offer?
ZiuZ will offer you a contract based on 40 hours (preferably), with 32 hours per week also being negotiable. Besides a salary and pension contributions, there will be net expenses allowances for travel to and from work, internet facilities at home, a mobile phone subscription and an allowance for a new mobile phone once every 2 years.
In addition, ZiuZ offers 25 leave days per year, and hybrid working has been effectively organised so you can partly work from home. However, ZiuZ believes it is important for everyone to regularly meet in the office and to work together in order to promote team spirit, creativity and communication.
Furthermore, our company acknowledges the importance of personal development, and will thus offer you a personal training budget. Besides your daily activities, we will also offer opportunities for informal contact with your colleagues. This is possible via the general coffee breaks or the daily lunch provided by ZiuZ, but also via leisure activities like a game event, a mountain bike tour or a family day.
