As a team leader, you will provide operational leadership to a group of 6 to 8 production employees within the Forming Room production team of the Operations department. You will ensure that you facilitate and motivate the employees so that production runs optimally, ensuring the continuity of the production process runs according to plan. You will conduct Personal Progress Interviews (PVG) and absence interviews, and you will be responsible for the daily planning of personnel. You will ensure that production orders are completed according to plan within the established work instructions and will arrange for maintenance planning (TPM). You will monitor important process parameters using SPC and take action in case of deviations and defects (OCAP). Furthermore, you will enter data for Efficiency/Yield registration and breakdowns. In this role, you will work according to the Photonis 5-shift schedule. 

Our ideal candidate

  • Has an MBO working and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
  • Has experience in leadership and motivating employees
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lean Manufacturing, preferably with an Orange or Green Belt certification.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and production-related software
  • Willing to take courses such as vacuum technology and emergency response (BHV). Your most important competencies are
  • You are capable of leading in a group-oriented manner and can coach on a personal level.
  • You are good at setting expectations and following up on them.
  • You are good at planning and organizing
  • You are able to identify and analyze problems or complicated situations, allowing you to quickly find a solution
  • You have a customer-oriented attitude
