First Safari of the year for technical business administration students from NHL Stenden!

Jan. 16 marked the first Safari of the year for a group of first-year students from NHL Stenden.

Introduction to a variety of ICD companies

The safaris are a great way for students to learn about the innovative businesses in the North. In addition, they get more idea about the professions they can pursue with the respective study. The safari began with KWANT CONTROLS BV, where Emil Koppen and Matt Soldier had the floor. Next, students were introduced to Ventura Systems CV, presented by Peter Poortman.
Thereafter, Hytrans Systems from Lemmer by as many as 3 employees: Emile Peters, Jelte van Ruiten and Martin Dijk. Last of all was Stork Turbo Blade introduced to us by Gerrit Mulder.

Positive feedback from teachers and students about the Safari

“It was a beautiful and well organized day. The students definitely had a great day and learned a lot. They were really impressed that we have such great companies in Friesland that are global players!” said lecturer-researcher ir. Muhamber Eglence, from the NHL Stenden.
