Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern/ graduate intern we're looking for?

You will be participating in the Cutting Elements & Metals Industrialization team at Philips Drachten, where you will get the opportunity to work on the ‘From data to knowledge’ assignment. For this assignment you will work with the industrialization team, where state-of-the-art high-quality metal forming processes are developed and implemented into the industrial domain of mass manufacturing. In the total development chain new functions and products are developed. The industrialization team will ensure that the right function is delivered to our customers for the right price. • Using data science and machine learning techniques to identify critical process parameters influencing dimensional accuracy and defect occurrence.
  • Developing a predictive model for process robustness and potential integration into predictive maintenance and quality control systems.
  • Delivering best practices for leveraging production data to accelerate industrialization and ramp up faster by gaining knowledge from generated data.
