News / Variass shares knowledge at the Precision Fair in Veldhoven

Reliability is an important characteristic of a product for both the end user and the manufacturer. The challenge is to design and manufacture a product in such a reliable way that it meets the requirements and wishes of the end user at the lowest total cost. At an early (design) stage, choices that affect the proper functioning of the product during use must be considered.

Jan Betten, engineer at Variassdiscussed the different ways to predict or test the reliability of a product (PCBA) during the lecture. Betten has over 25 years of experience in designing analog and digital electronics products for various markets. Within Variass he is responsible for the Product Development and Test Engineering department. His extensive experience in Product Development and Design for Excellence (DfX) is an important added value in advising customers on successful product development.
