Groningen's first public hydrogen filling station opened last week!
You can now fill the tank with hydrogen within 4 to 10 minutes with your car, van or truck. As a gas (H2), hydrogen is colorless and odorless, non-corrosive, non-oxidizing, non-radioactive, non-carcinogenic and non-toxic. And completely CO2 free. With this, Resato is leading the way, because hydrogen is now also an option in addition to electric driving. And therefore a nice alternative in the context of emission-free driving.
From 2030, only zero-emission cars may be sold. Environmentally friendly driving is therefore becoming increasingly important and made easier.
"Bee resato we are very proud of this milestone.” Says Rob Castien, CEO at Resato International BV. “I did a stress test the day before the opening. Filled up 9 cars in a row. Then waited 35 minutes and refueled 9 cars in 40 minutes. Total 17 cars in 2h15m. No frozen nozzle and all fills over 95% SOC. the future is NOW!”
Resato is engaged in developing a technology that belongs to the top of the world. The opening of this hydrogen filling station in Groningen and soon also in Doetichem, which will be one of the largest hydrogen filling stations in Europe, is a good start to an emission-free future.
The opening of the Holthausen hydrogen filling station on Bornholmstraat in Groningen was represented by the Holthausen Group Groningen Province, Groningen Municipality, Hyzon Motors Investors, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen and Resato Hydrogen Technology.
The station in Doetinchem is expected to be put into operation in mid-December. This hydrogen filling station offers the possibility to fill vehicles with 350 or 700 bar 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
