Participants of the ICD Smart Factory consortium project team visited the Brainport industry campus in Eindhoven on March 29. Here, among other things, the knowledge already developed was shared. Hendri Kortman gave a presentation on operator support, both for production through cobots and for office environments via data-driven apps and decision support for employees. The group was represented by the Smart Factory consortium consisting of participants from NTS Norma, Philips, Photonis, Dewulf, Resato and Variass also got a private tour and demos of all kinds of setups, including cobots, operator support systems, AR/VR support such as hololens, projection systems and 3D printing. It was a very inspiring, educational and fun day.
