Job description

As a 3D Metrology Specialist at NTS Drachten, you are responsible for accurately performing measurements and quality controls on parts and systems. You will conduct measurements using advanced measuring equipment and ensure everything meets the highest standards. Additionally, you will contribute to optimizing measurement processes and analyzing measurement results. You will work closely with operations and work preparation.

Furthermore, your duties are:

• Performing complex measurements using advanced measuring equipment, aiming for the highest quality.;
• Interpret measurement results and report findings;
• Preparation of measurement plans according to common measurement methods and establishment of effective and efficient measurement processes;
• Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment;
• Optimizing measurement programs;
• Advising on NPIs and participating in NPI project teams, advising on measurement techniques in project teams for making new products production-ready;
• Investigating new measurement systems and methodologies.

Job requirements

We are looking for a precise Measurement Specialist with the following background:

• A completed technical education at MBO (vocational education) work and thinking level or higher, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar;
• You ideally have several years of experience in geometric measuring and experience programming measuring equipment.;
• You can read technical drawings and interpret place and shape tolerances;
• Experience with the Calypso operating system and experience with Aukom (1, 2, and/or 3) is a plus.;
• You work in an extremely analytical, precise, and careful manner, with an eye for process optimization.;
• You have strong communication skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.;
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

With this challenge, we offer the following employment conditions:

• Salary from €3,800.00 to €5,000.00 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.;
• Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 RVD days with a full-time employment contract;
