Job description

As an Assembly Worker in the Cleanroom at NTS Drachten, you are responsible for assembling, cleaning, qualifying, and repairing fine mechanical modules for the high-tech industry. You will work in our cleanroom following technical drawings and work instructions, where accuracy and a sense of quality form the basis of everything you do.

You carefully check, record, and document your activities, thereby directly contributing to the quality of products that make a difference worldwide. You also actively think about improving processes and work methods within the cleanroom.

You are part of a close-knit team of specialists where collaboration and precision are the daily standard. Your contribution is directly visible in the final result, and your ideas are heard.

Furthermore, your duties are:

  • Assembly of precision mechanical parts according to current guidelines and work instructions;
  • Checking and qualifying modules for functionality and quality.;
  • Registering and reporting of measurement and test results;
  • Processing static data and discussing any quality issues or rejections;
  • Performing repairs within the established procedures;
  • Contribute to process improvements and quality enhancement within the cleanroom;
  • Manually and/or mechanically cleaning products using baths and chemicals.

Job requirements

We are looking for a precise and eager-to-learn Cleanroom Assembly Employee with the following background:

  • A completed vocational education (MBO) degree, preferably in a technical field;
  • Accurate, independent, and quality-conscious with a hands-on mentality.;
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.;
  • Eagerness to learn and analytical thinking skills for technical issues;
  • Good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing;
  • Experience or demonstrable affinity with working in a cleanroom environment is a plus.;
  • Willingness to work two-shift schedules (17:19–20:00, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2:15 PM to 11:00 PM (Mon–Thu and Fri until 9:45 PM).

With this challenge, we offer the following employment conditions:

  • Salary ranging from €2,900 to €3,500 gross per month, plus a shift allowance of 17.19%, depending on education and experience;
  • Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 RVD days with a full-time employment contract;
  • Personal development and growth opportunities, for example through training and education;
  • Annual discretionary budget of €150 gross, which can be used for vitality, the bicycle plan, or the gym via the Alleo app, among other things.;
  • Travel expense allowance of €0.21 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way);
