As a Calculation Engineer, you play an essential role in translating customer requests into smart, technically sound proposals. You are the link between customer, technology and commerce. You draw up a cost calculation that you develop textually into a suitable offer for the customer. In this position you have frequent contact with colleagues, customers, suppliers and consultants and you visit the project site to achieve a good result.
Your duties & responsibilities as a Calculation Engineer
From day one, you are actively involved in the entire process.
- Converting customer requests into a concrete and technical proposal
- Perform independent pre-engineering based on requirements, specifications or customer documentation
- Use standards and guidelines to arrive at a competitive costing and develop it into a clear quotation
- Build and maintain valuable contact with customers, suppliers and consultants
- Visiting project sites to achieve complete and accurate calculations
- Ensuring careful follow-up of offers
- Transfer projects to the project team in a smooth and clear manner

For our calculation team we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Calculation Engineer who enjoys technical challenges and complex questions.
You recognize yourself in the following:
- Do you have a completed HBO education (for example, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation) , but also with a MBO education with several years of relevant work experience we invite you to apply
- You have sufficient knowledge of industrial processes and automation to translate customer requests into appropriate proposals
- Familiar with electrical engineering guidelines (such as NEN 1010, NEN 3140, EMC, ATEX) and handy with Excel and ERP systems (we work with 4PS)
- A curious, inquisitive attitude: you like to keep developing yourself
- You communicate easily and know how to advise customers from content
- You are strong in planning and organizing
