Problem Description
Within the organization, sustainability is increasingly important across product development and operations. While various data points and KPIs exist, they are often spread across different tools and teams, making it difficult to track, maintain, and act on sustainability performance in a structured way.
Relevance
A structured, data-driven sustainability approach will improve performance visibility, support better decision-making, reduce manual effort, and help embed sustainability within development processes.
Assignment Objectives
- Analyze current sustainability data sources and workflows
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in data handling
- Develop methods for data collection, storage, and automation
- Explore dashboards or tools for KPI tracking and insights
- Propose a governance and maintenance approach
- Deliver concepts, recommendations, and optionally a prototype
Student profile
Suitable for students with a background in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or similar fields. Strong analytical skills, an interest in sustainability, and experience with data tools (Excel, Power BI, Python) are a plus.
