How do you make a measuring process smarter, faster, and more reliable? That is the challenge you will tackle during this internship. At Ventura Systems, you will research and develop an innovative measuring solution that can contribute to the next generation of door systems for public transport.

What are you going to do?

Ventura Systems develops door systems for buses that are used worldwide. To ensure that our doors function reliably for years to come, precise measurement of the door opening is essential. Currently, this is still done with traditional measurement methods, which are time-consuming and where measurement results can differ.

During your internship, you will research and develop a smart, standardized measurement solution that will make this process faster and easier.

  • Analyzing the current measurement method
  • Researching existing measurement methods and innovative technologies
  • Designing and developing a demonstration prototype
  • Investigating how measurement data can be stored centrally
  • Drafting an advisory report with recommendations for the future

There is plenty of room to contribute your own ideas. Furthermore, the assignment can be tailored to your interests.


Who are you?

You take initiative and work independently on technical issues, while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues. You are curious about new technologies and like to contribute to innovative solutions.

  • You are pursuing a higher professional education (hbo) degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Embedded/Electronics Engineering, Sensor Technology, or a comparable technical degree.
  • You have an affinity for embedded electronics and product development.
  • You are interested in technical innovation
  • You have basic knowledge of electronics, sensor technology, or embedded systems.
  • You enjoy designing, building, and testing prototypes
  • You are interested in collecting and analyzing measurement data
