Our business unit Demcon industrial systems (DIS) develops and realizes a wide variety of projects for the (complex) mechanical engineering market. Projects range from a partial development or a proof of principle setup to complete machines and total system solutions for our industrial clients.
For our branch in Groningen, we are looking for a versatile, enthusiastic, and driven electrical engineer in machine building.
What are you going to do?
As an Electrical Engineer within our mechatronic projects, you are the specialist in the field of control hardware and electromechanics. Together with the team, you are responsible for the concept, design, and detailed elaboration of the system. You develop models in EPLAN, provide support where necessary for proof-of-principle setups and prototypes, and are responsible for the electrotechnical bill of materials.
During the realization phase, you will hands-on supervise the assembly and act as a point of contact for external suppliers where necessary. In addition, you will be involved in testing, commissioning, and verifying the system.
What are you bringing?
- You have a technical background at higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) level in electrical engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a machine building environment;
- A broad knowledge and interest in electrical engineering;
- You have experience with EPLAN;
- Relevant knowledge of Beckhoff control hardware is a plus;
- Relevant knowledge of machine safety, motion, drives, and/or robot control is a plus;
