As Manager Engineering & Technology, you provide direction for the development of our engineers and for Viventris' technical course. You are responsible for daily management, but above all also for the Future vision of engineering within our organization. You switch effortlessly between technology, processes, commerce, and people management. You inspire the team, create structure, build collaboration, and identify commercial opportunities as soon as they arise.
What are you going to do?
Leadership & Team Development
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring the engineering team.
- Developing and executing departmental plans.
- Conducting POP talks and guiding individual development.
- Responsible for the inflow, throughput, and outflow of employees.
- Optimizing and ensuring work processes.
Technology & Projects
- Overseeing the technical content of projects: from concept to delivery.
- Sparring partner for engineers and clients.
- Capacity planning for ongoing and future projects.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
Commerce & Relationship Management
- Proactive account management for your own set of clients.
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Brainstorming for new business and supporting sales.
- Represent Viventris at trade shows and events.
Talent & Future
- Coordinating internships and graduation projects.
- Building an energetic, learning, and engaged engineering team.
- Further professionalize the engineering department.
Who are you?
- You have a strong technical background (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or similar).
- You have experience in leadership, team coaching, or technical project management.
- You are a strong communicator and know how to connect people.
- You have a feel for processes and an eye for commercial opportunities.
- You are energetic, entrepreneurial, and love variety.
