Comecer Netherlands BV in Joure develops, produces and sells a wide range of innovative soft- and hardware products that are used worldwide in hundreds of hospitals with nuclear medicine and the (radio)pharmaceutical industry. Comecer Netherlands BV is part of the Comecer Group and is a company within ATS Corporation.
As a .NET Software Engineer, you will work in a SCRUM team on a new software platform based on state-of-the-art technology. Our software runs on Windows or Linux and is developed in C#, TypeScript and React. The platform and applications are designed to run both on-premises and in the Cloud.
Step by step, we are upgrading our current applications to the new platform. By “applications” you can think of software that manages the complete patient/treatment planning in a hospital for nuclear medicine (planning of PET or SPECT scan, therapy, from preparation to injection). To reduce the risk of errors and make it easier for the user, the software has many interfaces with hospital systems and connected devices from both Comecer and third parties.
What are you going to do?
You will develop new and enhance existing applications based on technical and functional design and the product backlog. You work closely with your immediate colleagues such as the other Software Developers, Testers, Software Architect, Functional Designer and Product Owners. You will contribute to all aspects of software engineering (not only software development but also requirements engineering, functional design, verification and validation strategy, etc.). You will quickly build domain knowledge of our products/applications and occasionally assist third-line support to our customers.
As senior developer you will also make an important contribution in setting up or optimizing our development toolchain standardization of our development process. You will guide both internal and external development teams in applying our architecture and using the right tooling.
This is what we are looking for in you
You are proactive and identify improvements or problems in a timely manner and contribute to their resolution. You have experience with technical software documentation (and possibly knowledge of the IEC 62304 standard for developing medical software).
You are a team player and you are able to work fast and result-oriented based on Scrum in a very dynamic environment.
In doing so, you possess:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, or experience at equivalent level;
- Good communication and written skills in English and Dutch;
- Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or Angular, Vue, Svelte);
- SQL, Docker, Visual Studio and database systems is a plus;
- Knowledge and experience of Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps is a plus;
- experience e.g. GMP, healthcare, Medical Devices is a plus.
