Our modular production systems are based on current industry standards and range from small, semi-automated modules to complete, automated production lines. For our Groningen office we are looking for an experienced, versatile, enthusiastic, driven Senior mechatronic systems engineer.
What are you going to do?
You are responsible for the design of system concepts for a variety of products and production systems. You understand the language of the customer and translate to solutions, in collaboration with your colleagues. Your responsibilities also include the realization of the chosen solution and its validation. You know how to realize substantive connections between system requirements, system concept and system integration. In addition to a substantive role, you also fulfill a technical leading, motivating and coaching role.
Together with a project manager, you oversee and manage the process from quotation to realization at the client's site. You monitor technical progress, planning and budget and act where necessary. You ensure good communication with the client, cohesion within the project team and internal coordination within Demcon.
What are you bringing?
- You are a graduate or PhD in a relevant WO program (specifically mechanical engineering, engineering physics, electrical engineering) with specialism in/affinity with mechatronics and/or mechanics;
- You are a true professional and have demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, mechanics and/or control engineering;
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a systems engineer, lead engineer or mechatronic designer;
- You enjoy working project-based and as part of a team and feel at home in a corporate environment;
- You are entrepreneurial and creative, recognize and translate technical problems or new technical developments into possible projects and solutions;
- You have a business/commercial attitude and know how to combine the interests of the customer with those of Demcon;
- You possess a high degree of enthusiasm and flexibility, show initiative and perseverance, are customer-oriented and possess good communication skills;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language
