On Friday, November 8, the PhD day took place from the University of Groningen place. There are many PhD students thinking about their future: do I continue my academic career or do I switch to the business world?

Companies of the ICD naturally hope for the latter. They therefore did their best to get in touch with these people at the job fair and during the various presentations.

In addition to 110 PhDs already working at the ICD, talented new colleagues are always welcome. PhDs have certainly proven that they can tackle tough, complex topics. They usually do not go into their specialty precisely, but our experience is that they can tackle new topics quickly and thoroughly.

The photo shows the change of the morning shift: Monique Schoeman, PhD (Philips), Bas de Nooijer (Ventura Systems CV) to the afternoon shift: Jan Geralt At the Vaate (SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research), Johan de Wit (Demcon) and Michel van Es (Philips).

Thanks to everyone for contributing!
