The Innovatiecluster Drachten (ICD) says goodbye to Mirjam Kip (Ventura Systems) and Hetty Koning (Resato Hydrogen). Both are retiring from their employers, thus ending their active roles within the ICD. After more than eight years of involvement, they leave a lasting impression, especially within the cluster's HR working group.

Major contribution to the HR working group
Mirjam Kip and Hetty Koning were active in the HR working group of the ICD for many years. A group in which companies work together on themes such as talent development, sustainable employability and career development in the high-tech industry of the Northern Netherlands.
Their joint efforts contributed to structure, continuity and depth of content. The focus was always on the individual: from job to career.

Hetty Koning: enterprising and involved
Hetty Koning worked for many years at Photoniche and later at Resato Hydrogen. Within the ICD, she was known as an initiator and connector. She was not only active within the Innovation Cluster, but also closely involved in Technic North.
Her broad network and practical approach made her a valuable link between businesses, education and regional initiatives. Hetty will now enjoy her well-deserved retirement.

Mirjam Kip: building structure and development
Mirjam Kip brought her HR experience from Delta Instruments (acquired by PerkinElmer in 2016), PerkinElmer and then Ventura Systems. Within the ICD, she played an important role in building structure within the HR working group. Always with an eye for cooperation and long-term development.
After her retirement from Ventura Systems, Mirjam will remain active. She will work as an independent coach for HR professionals, continuing to bring her knowledge and experience to the field.

Thanks and appreciation
The ICD is very grateful to Mirjam Kip and Hetty Koning for their years of dedication, commitment and professionalism. Their contribution has helped to firmly anchor HR themes within the high-tech ecosystem of the Northern Netherlands.
We wish Mirjam and Hetty all the best in this new phase and thank them warmly for all they have meant to the ICD.
