On Monday, October 14, we were able to welcome a delegation of researchers from the BACK welcome. In particular, we welcomed professors and lecturers from two different research institutes: the Bernoulli Institute, which deals with Computer Science and AI, and the Engineering and Technology Institute, which focuses on Mechanical Engineering, Systems & Control.
This 'safari' was part of our long-term collaboration with the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the UG It was mainly focused on the newly established Engineering Doctorate Program for Autonomous Systems. Within this program we are currently starting several projects in the areas of Smart Manufacturing, Agriculture, Healthcare Systems, Robotics and Computer Vision. The ICD companies will work together with the professors of the Rijks Universiteit Groningen on innovation, the development of new technologies and attracting talent to the north.
