On Tuesday 19 November, 8 companies from the ICD and their engineers attended the inspiring Engineering the Future 2024 event of the Hanze University Groningen. This event brought together students, companies and technology to shape the future of engineering. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet talented students and explore collaborations.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲

During this job market, discussions were held about internship, graduation and career opportunities within the participating companies Variass, FMI ImProvia, Philips, Resato Hydrogen Technology, Spark Holland BV, Demcon, Sparck Technologies and KWANT CONTROLS BV

These companies presented their latest developments and gave students valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within technology. From smart automation solutions to groundbreaking products: the innovations appealed to the imagination.

In addition, the product is also available:

  • Inspiring conversations: Companies and students exchanged ideas and experiences, with students curious and ambitious in their search for opportunities.
  • Creating opportunities: Promising technical talent found their way to companies with challenging projects and impactful assignments.
  • Future-oriented connections: The students' enthusiasm gave confidence in the future of technology and collaboration.

𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁

For the companies it was a unique opportunity to experience the energy and curiosity of students. Many students were orienting themselves on their future career in technology, and the demand for internships and starter positions was high. The event also offered students a platform to gain ideas and inspire companies with their fresh perspective.

Thanks to all students, teachers and companies who contributed to this successful event. Together we are building a future in which technology continues to surprise and push boundaries. Innovation starts with connection and collaboration – and we experienced that here.
