Especially for executives, senior engineers and project leaders, this knowledge circle was started and will meet 4 times this year. The first session was a great success because of the 26 interested people. On the agenda was a very hot topic: scrum management within mechatronic projects. Agile project management with scrum methodologies is already successful in software projects. After an introduction about scrum management, in which a real Gordian human knot demonstrated once again that with a certain complexity the human brain quickly gives up, came a real story about the current experiments at Irmato with this new management technique.
The group concluded that this subject should once again be on the agenda to look in more depth at how a number of knots in this system can be unraveled when it comes to mechatronic projects.
