On August 28, 2025, the HR working group of Innovatiecluster Drachten (ICD) met at the SKILL building in Drachten for an interactive brainstorming session. The goal: to determine together how the working group can become even more valuable to member companies and their HR professionals in the coming years.

Energy and ideas in abundance

The meeting focused on collaboration, knowledge sharing and future vision. The session explored questions such as:

  • What HRM developments are we seeing within our own organizations?
  • What activities can we more effectively collective pick up?
  • How do joint HR initiatives connect to existing themes such as engaging and binding talent?
  • How do we see the role and future of the HR working group within the ICD?

The HR professionals in attendance brought valuable input from their own organizations. This made for a lively discussion, full of energy, ideas and fun.

The strength of the HR working group lies in the diversity and experience of the participating companies. Sharing knowledge and jointly tackling HR challenges creates opportunities to work faster and more effectively. Consider joint initiatives around:

Where do we stand

Follow-up steps

The input from this brainstorm forms the basis for the agenda of the HR working group in 2026. In the coming meetings, this will be further developed into a concrete annual program, which will include both knowledge sessions and joint projects.

With this approach, the HR working group remains not only a place for inspiration and reflection, but also a platform where northern Dutch high-tech companies can Building the future of HRM together.
