Comecer Netherlands BV in Joure develops, produces and sells a wide range of innovative software and hardware products that are used worldwide in hospitals within nuclear medicine and the (radio)pharmaceutical industry. Our R&D team consists of more than 20 enthusiastic professionals with expertise in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, embedded software engineering and .NET software development. Comecer Netherlands BV is part of the Comecer Group and is a company within ATS Corporation.
In Joure we develop and produce complete end products and subsystems. Think of Dose Calibrators (for measuring radioactivity), automatic injectors, measuring systems for glove integrity and monitoring systems for user safety. All of these are high-quality products that require broad technical knowledge - and contribute to safe and reliable care worldwide.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer you work in a multidisciplinary team and you are the connecting factor between mechanics, electrical engineering and software. You are a real out-of-the-box thinker who is result-oriented. You are involved in the entire process, from concept development and engineering to testing, validation and commissioning.
Your duties include:
- It design, develop and integrate of high-performance electronic and mechatronic systems.
- It Initiating and translating innovative ideas - both your own ideas and those of colleagues - into concrete concepts, modules and products.
- It Building, testing and validating prototypes, with a strong focus on learning, improving and optimizing.
- It identify, analyze and solve of complex technical issues throughout the project process.
- It translating customer requirements and functional specifications to effective and future-proof technical solutions.
- It Conducting in-depth feasibility studies to ensure that concepts match technical, usability, business case and regulatory requirements.
- It Review and optimize designs considering performance, reliability and manufacturability.

- Demonstrated experience with innovation Within electronic and/or mechatronic systems.

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English.
- A practical attitude: No job is too small for you - you have a real SME mentality.
- Experience with CAD software and working within technical development environments.
