The PhD day in Groningen that took place on 3 February was a great success. Many students attended the lecture and took the time to network with representatives from high-tech companies.
One of the most popular booths at the fair was that of ICD, which was represented by four leading companies in Northern Netherlands, namely: BD, Ventura Systems, Philips Drachten and ASTRON.
Even ASML, a leading company in technology, expressed its interest in joining Innovation Cluster Drachten. This shows how strong and valuable the cluster is for companies to be part of it.
The PhD day offered students the opportunity to get updated about the latest developments in the technology industry. It was a showcase of the thriving research and innovation sector in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
