What are you going to do?
You are responsible for developing and managing a professional, customer-oriented service organization for our locations in the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and Japan. Through close collaboration with the international teams, you encourage knowledge sharing, uniformity, and excellent business operations.
As the connective force behind our global service activities, you ensure seamless service delivery, ranging from training and the sale of spare parts to field service and technical support for bus manufacturers and end customers. In doing so, you not only ensure an excellent customer experience, but also elevate the quality, efficiency, and commercial value of our service organization to a higher level.
Further responsibilities include:
- Translating organizational goals into a clear service strategy, concrete forecasts, ambitious targets, and solid financial plans
- Building, coordinating and optimizing a global service network within Ventura Systems and the BODE Group*, with close collaboration between overseas branches, service partners, account managers and service teams
- You translate insights from customer and field experiences into improvements in our service, processes and products
- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with partners and other relevant stakeholders
- Representatives of Ventura as ambassadors in the market
- Leading, inspiring and motivating the Service team
*The completion of the transaction is subject to customary approvals from regulators and other conditions.
Who are you?
You are a driven and entrepreneurial professional with a fresh perspective on service and customer experience. With your natural leadership, you inspire people, connect international teams, and realize sustainable improvements.
You communicate easily at various levels, from mechanics and service managers to board members and international clients. You move smoothly between different interests, build strong relationships, and know how to achieve results. Negotiating gives you energy and seeing complex challenges as opportunities to improve.
You bring the following:
- A completed Hbo degree, preferably in a technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international service organization
- Experience in translating strategic objectives into concrete results
- You speak the language of both technology and the customer
- A passion for continuous improvement and building strong international collaborations
- Excellent command of the English language. German, Dutch and other languages are an advantage
For this role, you regularly travel internationally. You have no problem getting on a plane on short notice to support teams, customers, and partners worldwide.
