The Mission
As Manager of Engineering, your goal is clear: You ensure a flawless workflow. You eliminate noise, structure processes and monitor progress. In this way, you give our engineers the room to focus fully on what they do best: developing high-quality solutions for our customers.
Your responsibilities
- Coaching Leadership: You facilitate the team, recognize talent and build a cohesive unit. You motivate in the face of challenges and celebrate successes.
- Project direction: From quote to final delivery; you keep a tight rein and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
- Commercial point of contact: You are the business sparring partner for our clients. You communicate clearly, act fairly and understand the technical context of their issues.
- Process optimization: With an analytical eye, you identify bottlenecks. You implement improvements that increase efficiency.
- Innovation & R&D: You will work closely with the R&D department to develop our own product line CARS to an even higher level.
What are you bringing?
You are a “people person” with a business compass. You understand that a team only really performs when the noses are in the same direction and the processes are right.
- Level: HBO/WO working and thinking level (e.g. Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar).
- Experience: You have in-depth knowledge of engineering projects and understand the complexities of the industry.
- Personality: You are analytically strong and possess a large dose of perseverance. You are a true team builder who acts “hard on the content, but soft on the relationship.”.
- Vision: You act with business and integrity, always keeping the common result in mind.
