After a successful pilot edition in 2025, this year marks the 2nd edition for University, HBO, and MBO students!
The reactions to the last edition were enthusiastic, which is why the ICD Student Award an annual recurring event! Indeed, from 2026 the award will be expanded. Then, in addition to WO and HBO can now also MBO students compete with their internship or thesis project at one of the ICD partners. read here the article about the previous edition.

How is it judged
Theoretical stages/graduation assignments criteria Business impact, societal impact, innovation
Criteria for practical students: Best learning curve/personal development and creativity of the solution(s).

Procedure
This ICD Student Award 2026, like the previous ones, starts with an application period. Students compete by submitting a short video pitch of their project. Subsequently, 3 finalists will be chosen through a vote. They will pitch their innovative internship or graduation project to an expert jury and audience during an exciting final round. The winner will receive a unique trophy and a cash prize. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers will also receive a cash prize this year! And of course eternal fame within the ICD as the winner of this Award!
