News / Students of CSG Liudger visit WhisperPower

On 16 February, a group of students from Christelijke Scholengemeenschap Liudger originating from the Netherlands, Germany and Spain visited the company WhisperPower in Drachten. This visit was part of CSG Liudger's internationalisation project in which students learn more about sustainable solutions for the future.

WhisperPower is a Dutch company that develops, manufactures and supplies innovative sustainable solutions for energy storage and conversion. WhisperPower offers a wide variety of products that are used in both the mobile and maritime industries. The company is part of the Innovation Cluster Drachten.

During the visit, students learned about the various market segments in which WhisperPower operates, from electrical system solutions, energy production and the sustainable use of heat generated through water. WhisperPower heats its premises with self-generated energy. WhisperPower's products are energy-efficient, quiet, emission-free and reliable.

The students were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the company. They were given information about the products and processes, and had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on sustainable and innovative solutions for the future. It was a successful visit. Reactions were positive and the students were enthusiastic about the company and what it has to offer.

The Innovation Cluster Drachten brings companies, educational and government institutions together to work on innovative technologies. Companies share knowledge and develop new technologies together, while educational and government institutions are given access to the companies to find out more about the latest developments and contribute to them by exchanging ideas, working there as an intern or doing a graduation project.
