What are you going to do?
Within our purchasing and logistics (I&L) department we have a vacancy for a tactical buyer. Together with colleagues you are responsible for taking care of the supply chain. You look for suitable suppliers, negotiate delivery terms, oversee the entire procurement process and ensure the right conditions for our ERP system.
You are able to procure the right product and select the right supplier based on technical specifications and drawings. You maintain relationships with a number of key suppliers. You are also responsible for building management.
You will report to the manager I&L.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a completed college education, preferably business administration, commercial economics, mechanical engineering, or purchasing
- A completed Nevi I training is a plus
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a buyer, preferably in an SME company
- You are an excellent negotiator capable of closing deals
- You are good at maintaining internal and external relationships
- You have technical insight which enables you to select the right suppliers
- You have strong communication skills and command of the Dutch and English languages
- You are ambitious, driven and dare to take responsibility
