News / 'Drachten hopes to have gold in his hands'

The 'Alliantie van Drachten' was signed on Friday 30 September! With this alliance we confirm Philips' collaboration with the municipality of Smallingerland, the Innovation Cluster Drachten, ROC Friese Poort, NHL Stenden, University of Groningen and the hospital Nij Smellinghe.

A good example of collaboration within this alliance is the renovation and delivery of the SKILL building (Shared Knowledge Innovation Learning Lab) on the Philips site on Oliemolenstraat, a meeting place for students and the business community.

We look forward to working even closer together from this alliance and to making Drachten more attractive for residents, businesses and students!
