Technicians at Neopost Technologies in Drachten thought: ‘There must be another way - more mechanical, faster and cheaper. The result: the fully automatic parcel packing line CVP-500, a 22-meter-long machine that tackles just about all the drawbacks of current practice. After a product is placed on the CVP-500’s conveyor belt, the system measures its dimensions. Then the product is wrapped with a cardboard box that leaves as little room as possible for ‘air. Finally, the package is labeled, ready for shipment.
