A first session on visual intelligence within the ICD was held Wednesday, Nov. 11. Host Ziuz is of course highly specialized in this field and spearheaded the session. With two presentations on the subject. First, visual intelligence with vision cameras was discussed. In one of Ziuz's devices, three cameras are used to check pill sachets. Next, they discussed visual intelligence in large image files and how image recognition can be learned using neural networks and software. Next time Irmato, Philips and BD will explain their vision applications and enter into a dialogue with each other about this field.
