News / Private workshop: Cyber Security

Together with FME Metaalindustrie, Koninklijke Metaalunie, RoSF and Ynbusiness, Innovatiecluster Drachten is organizing the second practical workshop Cyber Security: Digitalization and Cyber Awareness in the Factory.

Many machines exchange information with each other. Such a network offers opportunities galore, but beware, connected equipment is susceptible to cybercrime. Therefore, especially for MT members and operational technical managers and system administrators, we hold the practical workshop Cyber Security: Digitization and cyber awareness in the factory.

Super useful and practical. Hacked anyway, while you know you're going to be hacked!

Bas van de Hoek (Philips), participant of the first workshop.

In this one-day workshop, on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, participants will get to work collecting data themselves, while students uncover how vulnerable different systems are and what you should do to secure both information and network. This workshop is open to everyone, even if you don't work at an ICD company.
